Responsibilities include the upkeep of Exchange and Active Directory services as well as file servers, company wide anti-virus definitions and the management of backup systems. The ideal candidate will have core competencies in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows 2003 server and Windows desktop operating systems and backup recovery. A background with WAN/LAN infrastructure planning and maintenance is highly desirable. Some end user support will be required.
Requirements:
5+ Years working in the IT field.
3-5 Years working with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
Demonstrated proficiency in Server 2003, Windows XP Professional and above.
Good customer service skills.
Experience working with and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Symantec Anti-Virus and Backup exec.
Experience with WAN/LAN Architecture.
Other Skills that would be desirable:
Experience with Cisco devices specifically PIX and ASA firewalls and VPN.
Server virtualization environments.
Linux operation systems.
Experience with high availability solutions.
Dell Server Hardware.
Symantec Ghost.
Doubletake.
RIM Blackberry.
Microsoft Active Sync.
